Satan is known as the deceiver and destroyer, bent on destroying our lives spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. He lures people with illusions that will ultimately ensnare and destroy them. Addictions, lies, adultery, drugs, stealing, pornography, the list goes on. People lose their sleep, lose themselves, and their life. They carry baggage so heavy they are weighted down by their burdens. Sometimes it is not easy to follow God's commandments, but it sure leads to an easier life than you would otherwise have. Following Him also does not cause sorrow or pain.
